David Joseph Condo,
Serve the Lord with Gladness: come before his presence with singing. Psalm 100.2
On Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, St. Mary's welcomed Organist David Joseph Condo to St. Mary's and the position of Music Director.
A life-long Episcopalian, Mr. Condo comes to St. Mary's with over 20 years experience administering liturgical arts programs with particular strengths in organ performance, choral and hand-bell training, and program management experience. In addition, Mr. Condo is also an accomplished organ recitalist, having performed throughout the United States and Europe.
Mr. Condo's biography may be accessed here.
We welcome all from the teen years and up to join the adult choir. Requests for hymns, anthems or service music are accepted. In addition to the blue book 1982 Hymnal, we use the Lift Every Voice and Sing II, an African Amercan Hymnal. It contains many old favorites and spirituals. If you have a desire to worship God through song, please join us at rehearsal.
At Christmas, we have a beautiful Service of Lessons and Carols, and a wonderful celebration of the Easter VIgil in song. Soloists and a trumpet add to our music at Christmas and Easter. We've enjoyed many great performances, especially at Easter with the "Hallelujah Chorus" from The Messiah and "King Wenceslas," Ding! Dong! Merrily on High" and "Carol of the Bells" on Christmas Eve.
An exciting new venture at St. Mary's is the addition of a Bell Choir. All ages, youth and adult, will be trained by our Music Director to play the bells. Interested? Contact David Condo.

St. Mary's Organ
In 2004, our 34 year old organ was refurbished and expanded. Russell Meyer, a noted organ builder and restorer from Bridgeton, NJ, undertook the work which included a complete overhaul of the console, pipes and wind chests. The console was digitalized, greatly increasing the range of musical options, and 347 additional pipes were installed together with new wind chests and blowers. A beautiful new facade that displays several ranks of the newly installed tin-clad pipes was constructed.
On June 5, 2005, the organ was dedicated at a Choral Evensong with full choir. An organ concert featuring several area organists and our organist at the time, Mr. Christopher Rio, was enjoyed by many.
Please enjoy the following pieces performed by our organist, David Joseph Condo.
