Family Promise of Cape May County
St. Mary's is the host church for the 7 Mile Island Churches: St. Brendan the Navigator RC Church, The First United Methodist Church of Avalon, and the Ev. Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Teams from each church are scheduled to provide meals, social time, help with children, and sleep over for families making St. Mary's Parish Hall their home for the week.
Advent Giving Tree
The program has grown to nearly 100 family members on the tree. Gifts and grocery store food cards are provided by the congregation and the church.
School Supplies Program
Backpacks filled with supplies requested by Cape May County schools are provided and blessed each August for children identified by their schools to be in need. Thanks to our congregation and our neighbors in the community, we are able to provide filled backpacks for the children along with classroom supplies for teachers.
AA, Alanon and N/A meet weekly in St. Mary's Parish Hall.
